That way your belongings are stored safely and we can get on with arranging your move quickly. Should you wish to keep your belongings in storage for longer than six months, Verhuisbedrijf Holland makes sure they stay in good condition.
For example, we keep items made of plastic, metal and rubber free from rust by using silicone spray.

For an average home’s contents (20 to 35 m³) you can expect € 150 to € 300 per month in a heated, secure unit. In addition, you pay a one-off charge for transport to and from the storage.

How long can I store my belongings?
You decide for yourself how long you store your belongings, from a few weeks to several months. The storage is flexible and can be cancelled monthly, so you never pay for longer than you need. Handy if your new home is not yet ready or if there is a gap between the handover of two houses.
Are my belongings insured while in storage?
Your goods are stored in a secure unit, but they are not automatically insured up to any value. At Verhuisbedrijf Holland you can take out contents or storage insurance that covers damage and loss. Ask about this in advance, so that you know exactly what you are covered for.
Is the storage unit heated and secure?
Yes. We store your household contents in a dry, heated and secure unit with CCTV. The constant temperature prevents damp and mould damage, which is especially important for wooden furniture, electronics and delicate items such as a piano. That way your belongings stay in the same condition as when you left them.
Can I access my stored belongings in the meantime?
Access to your stored goods is possible by arrangement. We schedule a time for this so that we can make your belongings accessible. Let us know in advance if you expect to need something in the meantime, and we will take that into account when loading.
What is the difference between moving with storage and standalone storage?
With moving plus storage, you combine your move and temporary storage in a single process: we collect your household contents, store them and deliver everything to your new address. Standalone storage is simply the keeping of goods.
How does storage with a removal company work?
With storage through a removal company, we collect your household contents, pack them carefully and store everything in a dry, heated and secure unit. You decide for yourself how long you need the storage and when we deliver your belongings back to you. That way you combine storage and transport in a single process with the same regular crew.
How much storage space do I need for my household contents?
How much storage space you need depends on the volume of your household contents, usually expressed in cubic metres. An average home’s contents require around 20 to 35 m³, while for a few individual boxes or pieces of furniture you need far less space. We are happy to help you with an estimate, so that you do not pay for more space than you need.
