Vleuten, moving between village centre and new-build
Vleuten has a dual character that you really notice on moving day. On the one hand there is the old village centre around the Dorpsstraat, with narrower streets, older buildings and sometimes a cramped kerb to load from. On the other hand lie the modern neighbourhoods of Vleuterweide, such as De Boomgaarden, De Rietvelden, De Tuinlanden and De Hoven, plus the new-build of Haarzicht. There you find spacious family homes, semi-detached houses and townhouses, often with parking behind or beside the home and a driveway at the door.
For us that means tailored work. In Vleuterweide we can usually stand close to the front door and get on quickly, whereas in the village centre we tend to arrive with a more compact van and a tight schedule. Parking is free in most residential areas of Vleuten, but we always take account of home zones, bollards and cycle streets.
